My bike does not appear while scanning
Wake the bike by pedaling or pressing a console button, and make sure no other app is already connected. The IC4 family only allows one active Bluetooth connection at a time.
I see power, cadence, and speed, but not distance or elapsed time
Some bikes do not advertise those FTMS fields. IC4Workout estimates workout time and distance locally during an active workout so you still get a usable ride summary.
HealthKit permission seems slow to appear
The Apple permission sheet can take a moment to appear. The app now shows a requesting state immediately while iOS prepares the Health prompt.
Which bikes are supported?
Verified on Schwinn IC4. Bowflex C6 and Schwinn IC8 are expected to work, but external confirmation is still needed.
Heart-rate zones look wrong for me
Heart-rate zones are user-adjustable in settings. The defaults are only a starting point.
